Candace Owens is targeting conservative Jewish commentator Josh Hammer in her latest conspiracy theory about the assassination of Charlie Kirk last month.
As independent journalist Yashar Ali pointed out, Owens quote-tweeted a post from Sam Parker — whom Ali described as a “notorious neo-Nazi” suggesting that Hammer had foreknowledge of Kirk’s murder. The post from Parker read:
JOSH HAMMER TREACHERY?
FACT: Josh Hammer randomly dug up a 12-year old Trump tweet about public executions the night before Charlie was assassinated.
FACT: That same night before the assassination, Josh Hammer told us he had a meeting with Charlie wherein he claimed Charlie hadn’t changed his mind on israel. He neglected to say anything about Charlie’s group chat statement from the previous day.
FACT: Josh Hammer was in the group chat where Charlie admitted he was going to have to abandon the pro-israel cause, yet Hammer remained completely silent about this and called Candace Owens a liar for claiming Charlie’s stance on israel was shifting.
FACT: Josh Hammer knew about the letter to Netanyahu, but remained quiet and let others break the story.
Why is Josh Hammer calling people liars for making true claims while remaining silent on key pieces of insider information himself that refute his own claims?
Watch Josh Hammer tell you about being in the group chat and tell you Charlie wasn’t shifting his stance. This is now confirmed to be untrue and it turns out Candace Owens was telling the truth. Why did hammer lie about Candace and not produce this information himself?
The post included a screenshot of Hammer expressing his agreement with a 2013 endorsement of public executions from President Donald Trump.
“I knew nothing about Josh Hammer’s random tweet about public executions the night before Charlie was publicly executed. In what context does that tweet make sense? Literally WTF,” commented Owens in her quote-tweet of Parker’s post.
Ali reported on Owens’s activity in a post of his own that read:
Last night, Candace Owens quote-tweeted notorious neo-Nazi Sam Parker, who pointed out that Josh Hammer — who is Jewish and was a friend of Charlie Kirk’s — elevated a Trump tweet from 2013 the day before, which called for public executions.
Candace, of course, would like people to believe that Josh’s quote tweet is suspicious in the context of the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
But Josh was just sharing what many conservatives were sharing and stating the day before…that’s because they were talking about the horrific murder of Iryna Zarutska.
This prompted Owens to double down.
“There is not a single shred of proof that you can produce that Josh Hammer was referring to Iriyna. Not one. Not even his own public statements about Iriyna’s murder. There was no new information about her murder that day so it wasn’t even trending,” she wrote in a quote-tweet of Ali’s post. “You are just covering for him and it won’t work.”
Owens has made a number of outrageous claims in the weeks since Kirk’s death, as well as pushed a wide variety of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories over the last two years.
