Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones added insult to injury Sunday when he gave New York Jets fans the middle finger while his team was in the middle of a blowout win.
The Cowboys took on the Jets on Sunday afternoon in East Rutherford, New Jersey. While both teams got off to a slow start in the first quarter, the Cowboys really began to impose their will in the second and took a commanding 23-3 lead into halftime.
In the second half, the Jets did their best to make the score at least a little more respectable. Unfortunately, that amounted to very little and the Cowboys left with a 37-22 win. The win improved the Cowboys’ record to 2-2-1. The Jets, on the other hand, fell to an abysmal 0-5.
In the midst of all that humiliation, Jones chose to exchange pleasantries with some Jets fan. While seated in the owners suite, Jones was captured on multiple videos looking at a fan before holding up the middle finger. He then pointed at the fan before waving at someone else in another direction.
The fans around Jones — both Cowboys and Jets alike — seemed to get a kick out of the ordeal as many in the section laughed.
