Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) seemed to take great delight in Fox News showing White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller a clip of her claiming he is 4’10”.
Miller has arguably been the Trump administration’s most visible and most vocal proponent of the ongoing immigration crackdown across the U.S. It was a busy Monday for Miller, who mixed it up with a host on CNN and sparred with reporters outside the White House while defending his characterization of an unfavorable court ruling as a “legal insurrection.”
Later in the evening, he appeared on The Ingraham Angle, where Laura Ingraham aired an Instagram video of Ocasio-Cortez tearing into Miller on Sunday.
“He looks like he is angry about the fact that he’s 4’10,” AOC said. “And he looks like he is so mad that he is 4′ 10″, that he’s taken that anger out on at any other population possible. Like, laugh at them! Laugh at them.”
After making a crack about AOC wearing a hoodie in the video, she asked for Miller’s response.
“Well, we knew that her brain didn’t work,” Miller responded. “Now we know her eyes don’t work. So, the, she’s a mess, tight? What a trainwreck. What a trainwreck.”
“I [have] know you for about 20 years,” Ingraham said. “You’re about 5’11.”
“Five, ten,” Miller replied.
“About 5’10,” Ingraham echoed.
After the segment aired, Ocasio-Cortez responded on social media.
“I cannot believe they aired this and made him listen to it live 
I am crying,” she wrote while quote-tweeting a snippet of the segment.
Ingraham wasn’t the only Fox News primetime host to issue a correction about Miller’s height. Jesse Watters and Sean Hannity also offered fact checks.
