Journalist Mehdi Hasan, went off on President Donald Trump as he spoke to the UN General Assembly Tuesday, ripping the commander in chief as a “man-child” who addressed foreign leaders with words “not even the literal dictators” would say.
Hasan, the editor-in-chief of Zeteo, took to X to provide his own commentary as Trump ranted about escalators, open borders, and the UN itself during his remarks in New York City.
Alongside a video of Trump declaring, “Everyone says I should get the Nobel Peace Prize,” Hasan posted: “Literally nobody says that which is why he keeps saying it for himself, shameless, insecure, narcissistic man-child that he is.
He is bragging about his violations of international law at the United Nations,” Hasan added in another post, complete with a face-palm emoji.
After Trump touted his poll numbers in his 55-minute speech, Hasan posted: “He went to the UN to tell them about his poll numbers. Literally no other world leader speaks like this at the General Assembly. Not even the literal dictators.”
