Folk singer Tsvetelina Yaneva and lawyer Zara Petrova, both mothers of Delyan Peevski’s children according to media publications, are neighbors and tenants of apartments in Dubai. The modest one-room apartments have an area of just over 38 sq.m. and are located in the building “Elite Residence 6”. The area is inland, about 12 km. in a straight line from the “Palm” – the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah.
The rent for each of the apartments is not expensive – 6,900 euros per year (27,600 AED). The owners renting out the apartments are citizens of Pakistan. The lease agreements were signed on November 5 and 7 last year and are for a period of one year.
BIRD also has the data on the residence permits in Dubai of Tsvetelina Yaneva and Zara Petrova, as well as on the documents issued to them (Emirates ID).
In the “Unlocked Dubai” information array There is also information about the owners of the properties, but the two ladies are not listed there. Peevski also has no property in his name.
Born in 1989, folk singer Tsvetelina Yaneva gave birth to a son of Delyan Peevski in 2017, as reported by Actualno.com, Flagman and other media. Again, according to the media, this is Peevski’s second child.
Delyan Peevski has a daughter with Zara Petrova, his former girlfriend and peer, born in 1980 and daughter of the former member of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) Vasil Petrov. BIRD recalls that Delyan Peevski’s mother – Irena Krasteva was revealed as the owner of a luxury villa with a total built-up area of 242.57 sq.m. at Emirates Hills in Dubai in the previous international journalistic project called “The Dubai Revelations”. The property was valued in 2020 at $570,000. Judging by passport data, Krasteva acquired the villa after 2016.

The United Arab Emirates became the center of the business empire controlled by Peevski after he privatized Bulgartabac, hidden behind Liechtenstein offshore companies and with money from Corpbank. The UAE-registered company TGI Middle East FZE was the owner of both the cigarette business and logistics, distribution, IT companies and even a dairy in Bulgaria. In a presentation of TGI Middle East FZE, published by According to Bivol, the company’s assets were estimated in 2017 at nearly BGN 1.5 billion, including real estate worth $300 million.
Peevski has never declared that he is the owner of such impressive assets, and the ultimate owner of TGI Middle East FZE remains hidden from local law, as the company is registered in a free zone, where there is not even a register of companies.

This, in turn, cast doubt on his settlement in Bulgaria and the EU, a condition for candidates in European elections, in which Peevski appeared twice.
