Balgarianovinite.com As of Monday, a EUR 200 million bond issue of Starcom Holding AD, the majority shareholder of Eurohold Bulgaria AD, is traded simultaneously on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, through EuroBridge – the dual-listing segment for securities of Bulgarian companies in Bulgaria and Germany, Eurohold Bulgaria said in a statement on their website on Monday.
This is the first debt securities issue on EuroBridge, a market segment designed by the BSE and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange to directly connect the Bulgarian and German capital markets and provide Bulgarian companies with expanded access to global capital.
On August 17, a bell-ringing ceremony was held at the BSE in Sofia in the presence of representatives of the issuer and the Bulgarian exchange, symbolically marking the start of trading in Starcom’s securities. The event marked the successful completion of the dual-listing process for the first bond issue on EuroBridge, creating even more opportunities for Bulgarian companies to gain access to global portfolio investors and capital in one of Europe’s leading financial centres.
Starcom’s bond issue was issued on April 8, 2026, with a total value of EUR 200 million, divided into 20,000 book-entry secured bonds, each with an issue and nominal value of EUR 10,000. The loan matures on April 8, 2033, and includes a three-year grace period on principal repayments.
“The companies owned by Starcom have accumulated solid experience and have accomplished dozens of successful projects on the international capital markets, some of which are unrivalled in the region’s corporate sector in terms of value and significance,” Starcom Holding CEO Milen Christov said during the ceremony, as quoted in the statement.
“I am pleased to announce the launch of the first bond issue on the EuroBridge market simultaneously on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange and in Frankfurt. With this launch, we are marking a new stage in the development of the BSE’s bond market, which has been growing very dynamically in recent years. Around EUR 700 million in bonds are raised annually on the Bulgarian exchange. With Starcom’s entry, we are now opening the door to large-scale issues with access to global investors,” BSE Chief Executive Manyu Moravenov said.
