The Bulgarian News Agency signed a media partnership agreement with the Vratsa Symphony Orchestra on Wednesday to promote the cultural institution’s concert activities.
The agreement describes the orchestra as a cultural institution with a history spanning more than a century, sustaining the region’s symphonic traditions and strengthening its cultural standing and spirit. Founded in 1973 as the successor to the city’s opera orchestra, established in 1909, it is now recognized as one of Bulgaria’s leading symphony orchestras. Its repertoire spans all periods, styles and genres of music from around the world.
Bulgarian music features prominently in its programmes, from the classics to works by the youngest composers, whose music is often performed at national and international festivals.
Under the partnership, the two sides will work together to support the development and promotion of a range of activities, initiatives and events.
