MAGA Rages Against Nobel Peace Prize Committee Over Trump Snub for ‘Random Person That Nobody Knows’

Although President Donald Trump has not yet commented on his failure to win the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize — an award he coveted for his efforts to stop the war in Gaza and other wars around the world — plenty of MAGA acolytes rallied to his defense to call the Nobel Committee’s decision a real “snub.”

On Friday morning, Chairman of the Nobel Committee Jørgen Watne Frydnes announced that Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado would receive the prestigious gold medal, diploma, and cash prize of approximately $1.2 million for her work against dictator Nicolás Maduro’s brutal regime that saw her risking her life on many occasions.

Radio host Megyn Kelly called the award, “a leftist celebration for leftist behavior.”

“Trump deserves the Peace Prize, but the loser here is the Nobel Committee which has further sullied its once-stellar brand,” she wrote.

Katie Miller, wife of Trump deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, wrote that the 2025 award put “POLITICS OVER PEACE.”

“No one is surprised the globalists would snub our President,” complained MAGA podcaster Jack Posobiec, who scored a coveted seat on Air Force One to fly to Alaska for Trump’s summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in August.

Breitbart News wrote simply, “Lol of course.”

Former GOP Rep. Adam Kinzinger found great irony in the fact that a Latina woman beat out Trump for the prize, as the president continues to send National Guard troops into major U.S. cities to detain undocumented migrants, most of which are from Central and South America.

The X account “MAGA Voice” suggested that “Trump could have cured cancer” and still fallen short while complaining that “some random person that nobody knows, Maria Machado, just won the Nobel Peace Prize.”

And Trump “whisperer” Laura Loomer called it “PATHETIC” to watch U.S. lawmakers “congratulate a Venezuelan woman for winning the Nobel Peace Prize.”

Loomer wrote, “Read the room. The only person who deserves this prize is President Trump…It’s embarrassing that any US official would have nominated a VENEZUELAN over an American hero. What a joke.”
