Balgarianovinite.com There Is Such a People (TISP) Deputy Chair Toshko Yordanov said on Wednesday that he does not think there is another place where the party feels as much at home as in Pleven. Yordanov was in the city for the launch of TISP’s campaign for the April 19 snap parliamentary elections.
Regarding the party’s priorities, Yordanov said that after the Petrohan case (a high-profile criminal case in which five men and a 15-year-old boy met a violent death between February 1 and 8), it had become clear that the country has a problem and that Bulgarian children are at risk. “The party will continue to defend and promote normality in the Bulgarian family and ensure conditions for the proper development of children in a family with a father and a mother,” he added.
Yordanov said that the main positions TISP will uphold in the next Parliament are that illegal immigrants should be deported and the European Green Deal should be stopped, because, in his words, it “leads to high electricity prices, makes everyone poorer and reduces the competitiveness of production and the State.”
Addressing the people of Pleven, Yordanov said that they should know the party best, as its Chair Slavi Trifonov is from the city. They know who Trifonov is, what he does, and what his life path has been, having unfolded before the eyes of the whole of Bulgaria, Yordanov added.
