Argentina President Javier Milei will deliver a speech about “fiscal discipline, personal responsibility,” and “slashing government spending” at CPAC Mar-a-Lago this week after receiving a $40 billion bailout from President Donald Trump.
The Conservative Political Action Conference announced on Monday that Milei would be a “featured speaker at the 2025 CPAC Circle Retreat and Gala, taking place November 4-7, 2025” at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, less than a month after the president approved a massive financial bailout for Argentina’s libertarian government.
“Milei’s unapologetic advocacy for smaller government, individual freedom, and the dismantling of bureaucratic obstacles has made him a symbol of what’s possible when leaders prioritize liberty over state control,” CPAC boasted in a press release, adding:
His vision for Argentina—rooted in fiscal discipline, personal responsibility, and the rejection of socialism—offers a blueprint for conservative leaders across the world. From slashing government spending to championing economic freedom, Milei’s revolutionary approach demonstrates that conservative principles can deliver real results and transform nations struggling under the weight of failed socialist policies.
Tickets for the event will cost conservatives between $5,000 and $25,000, giving them access to a lineup of speakers that includes Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry, White House special presidential envoy Richard Grenell, former NFL player Jack Brewer, and CPAC chairman Matt Schlapp, who has faced repeated accusations of sexual assault from men over the past few years.
Last month, Trump was grilled over his $40 billion bailout to Argentina, with one reporter questioning how such a move could be considered “America first.”
“It’s really meant to help a good financial philosophy,” insisted Trump. “The people recognize he’s done an amazing job. He took over a real mess.”
