The Bulgarian Stock Exchange’s (BSE) main index SOFIX rose above the 1,500-point mark on Friday for the first time since mid-January 2008. The blue-chip index gained 0.84% to 1,508.45 points. SOFIX is up 30% since the beginning of 2026. For comparison, the benchmark index ended 2025 at 1,156.43 points.
The BGBX40 and BGREIT indices rose 0.57% and 0.15%, respectively, to 245.51 and 243.28 points. BGTR30 gained 0.46% to 1,157.30 points, while beamX was the only index to finish in negative territory, falling 1.58% to 126.21 points.
Trading turnover on the BSE’s Main market reached EUR 1.33 million. Transactions worth EUR 557 were concluded on the Alternative market, while turnover on the BEAM market amounted to EUR 32,532. Trading on the MTF BSE International segment totalled nearly EUR 67,000.
The most actively traded stock of the day was Shelly Group. A total of 4,014 shares changed hands in 44 transactions, generating turnover of EUR 265,293. The company’s shares were unchanged at EUR 66.20 per share.
Shares of BG Real Estate REIT rose 0.73% to EUR 2.75, while those of Tchaikapharma gained 3.61% to EUR 8.60 per share.
Sirma Group shares fell 0.25% to EUR 7.98, while shares of CB Fibank and Telematic Interactive BG rose 0.94% and 0.97%, respectively, to EUR 4.30 and EUR 10.40 per share.
On the BEAM market, shares of Dronamics Capital fell 5.51% to EUR 1.20 per share.
