‘What the F*** Are You Doing?!’ Jon Stewart Tears Into ‘Human Flat Tire’ Chuck Schumer

The Daily Show host Jon Stewart tore into Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on Monday, comparing him to “a human flat tire” after Schumer made an excruciating joke during a press conference on the government shutdown.

During the monologue of his show, Stewart played a clip of Schumer saying, “Democrats are adamant that we must protect the healthcare of the American people.”

“If you had stopped there, that would be great, but you’re gonna keep talking aren’t you?” reacted Stewart, before playing the rest of the clip.

Schumer continued, “New data came out today from KFF, and that is not Kentucky Fried French Fries. KFF.” The Senate minority leader then turned to Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and said, “That’d be Kentucky French Fries, hm?” before giggling at his own joke.

“Who is that joke even for? Six-year-olds who watch C-SPAN?” responded Stewart, unimpressed. “What the f*** are you doing?! Chuck Schumer is a human flat tire. You just can’t– [Schumer impression] ‘Kentucky Fried French Fry.’ Look at Klobuchar! Poor Klobuchar. That is the face of someone who talked to their dad, who said, ‘Just please don’t do your Indian accent in the restaurant. That’s all I’m asking.’”

Stewart has repeatedly torn into Schumer on his show over the past year.

In March, Stewart called Schumer “a disgrace to Jewish stereotypes about financial negotiations” and criticized him for his tactic of negotiating with Republicans while at the gym.

A month prior, The Daily Show host begged Democrats to “please stop f***ing trotting Schumer out.”

“He’s not good at this,” remarked Stewart. “Honestly, listening to Chuck Schumer speak on almost any topic makes me want to bomb Canada.”
