Construction has begun on the XOPark Stara Zagora retail park, an investment of nearly EUR 20 million, Trinity Capital Executive Director Stoyan Kolev said on Thursday.
The project will feature around 20,000 square metres of retail space, more than 26 stores and 560 parking spaces, and is expected to create 150-200 jobs, Kolev said. Opening is planned for 2027. The complex will host more than 25 brands, including Stara Zagora’s first Fantastico supermarket, which will offer over 20,000 products and additional services, he added. The development will also include a community space named Agora for events and local producers.
Stara Zagora Mayor Zhivko Todorov welcomed the investment, pointing to its potential to boost employment and the local economy.
XOPark Stara Zagora is developer Trinity Capital’s seventh retail park project. The company aims to expand its network to around 10 locations by the end of 2028, with projects planned in Sandanski, Gotse Delchev and Razgrad.
