In August 2026, the construction production in Bulgaria increased by 0.8% compared to the previous month, according to preliminary and seasonally adjusted data released by the National Statistical Institute on Friday. The calendar-adjusted data showed a rise of 4.2% in the construction production compared to the same month of 2025.

In August 2026, compared to the previous month, an increase was observed in the production of specialized construction activities – by 2.4% and in the civil engineering – by 0.5%. A decline was observed in the production of building construction – by 0.4%.
Annual changes
In August 2026, compared to the same month of 2025, a rise of the production was registered in the construction of buildings – by 7.4%, in the civil engineering – by 4.2%, and in the specialized construction activities – by 0.8%.
