The 2nd Black Sea 2030 International Forum will take place in Burgas on October 30 at the International Congress Centre at the seaside city, the Burgas Chamber of Commerce and Industry said on Thursday.
The forum will bring together representatives of European and international institutions, government, business, academia, the media and young people to discuss the region’s future. Topics will include Black Sea security, sustainable development of marine and coastal communities, and the role of science, innovation and new technologies.
This year’s event will place greater emphasis on professional networking and youth participation, while last year’s inaugural forum explored the Black Sea’s potential as an energy link between Europe and Asia, EU initiatives for sustainable regional development, and student-led innovations, including water-monitoring technologies, environmental solutions and the locally developed Helios Omega 7.2 electric yacht.
The Black Sea 2030 is organized by Burgas Municipality and the Prospekti M Association.
