Bill O’Reilly vented Republican lawmakers appear to be clueless about how to improve the economy and make it better for the average American — and that could end up costing the GOP big in November.
The veteran cable news host urged Republicans during a Monday evening appearance on NewsNation to find a better economic message ASAP.
If not, the Democrats will drub them in the midterms, he contended.
“The Republicans are so blanking dumb, they can’t put it together and therefore they may very well lose,” O’Reilly said.

That came towards the end of a passionate back-and-forth with host Leland Vittert on how both parties are looking heading into the elections. O’Reilly wasn’t too impressed with either of them.
“The Democratic platform has no platform to bring down prices,” O’Reilly said. “Neither do the Republicans.”
And since both parties have no real solutions to offer on the economy, he said they’re resorting to “gimmicks.”

Even President Donald Trump has not been immune to the “gimmick mania,” O’Reilly said, without giving specific examples of the gimmicks both parties are trotting out.
Still, O’Reilly said the Dems are incompetent when it comes to generating good economic ideas. He said the Democrats are just “selling socialism” at this point, and if any American thinks that’s a good plan, they should just go to England and take a look around.
“You wanna live there?!” O’Reilly asked.
He added Democrat-run states have proven the party only knows how to create bloated government agencies, not economic solutions.
“You want to see affordability? Go to California, there’s nothing affordable there,” O’Reilly said. “So stop with this nonsense.”
His segment comes as most polls have not looked good for Republicans heading into November, with every major poll tracked by The New York Times since the start of September giving the Dems an edge in the general congressional ballot.

To help Republicans win over voters, Trump has hit the road and held rallies in states like Nebraska and Alabama over the last week.
On Saturday night in Ohio, Trump predicted the GOP will shock the world with a stronger-than-expected midterms performance.
“We’re gonna shove it up their a**,” Trump declared.
