Balgarianovinite.com Dimitar Karbov, the top-of-the-list candidate of Nation for Varna, is quoted by the party’s press office as saying that “Children are our greatest treasure and hope for Bulgaria’s future, which is why addressing the country’s demographic crisis is a top priority for Nation.” Karbov added that solving this problem requires measures, including significant financial incentives for having children, as well as providing housing for large families.
Karbov noted the civilizational choice voters face and how their vote will shape the country’s politics. He emphasized that the Nation party’s platform calls for Bulgaria’s immediate withdrawal from the EU and NATO, the formation of a military alliance with Russia, and accession to BRICS, while maintaining trade relations with the EU.
Karbov said that energy is also a key priority for the party. The development of nuclear energy and the construction of additional reactors are of immense importance for Bulgaria. According to Karbov, the country should combine renewable and nuclear power to ensure the needs of the population and business are met, while allowing the sector to develop. Bulgarian pension funds should invest in the country’s nuclear energy sector rather than in Western assets that are losing value, the press office of Nation quotes the top-of-the-list candidate of the party in Varna saying.
