Balgarianovinite.com On the occasion of International Women’s Day, President Iliana Iotova emphasized the importance of women’s voices in promoting peace and stability amid global crises. “In times of war, uncertainty and confrontation, which undermine the international order, the voice of us, women and mothers, must be heard loudly – a voice calling for reason, peace and dialogue,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Sunday.
In her message, she wished Bulgarian women health, light and inspiration, energy and ambition, and urged them to take pride in all they achieve every day, both in their professional lives and within their families and social circles.
Iotova also encouraged women not to fear standing up for their rights and to dream boldly. “Remember what it means to give birth to a child! Give them a future,” the President added.
