The programme includes academic presentations, research sessions, and visits to major archaeological sites, including the Archaeological Museum, the Episcopal Basilica, and Melnik.
The conference is organized by the National Archaeological Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Archaeological Museum in Sandanski, with support from Sandanski Municipality.
