President Donald Trump apparently has another victory to add to his presidential résumé, at least according to Team USA’s golf captain Brandt Snedeker, who gave the president a conspicuous share of the credit for his team’s win on Sunday.
Snedeker offered the president “all the credit” after the United States overturned a three-point deficit to defeat the International Team 17-13 at the Presidents Cup, claiming an 11th consecutive victory in the competition.
Trump had appeared at Medinah Country Club in Illinois before the final day’s singles matches, greeting the U.S. players on the first tee as they attempted to rescue a contest in which they had been outplayed for much of the previous three days.
After the comeback was complete, Snedeker made good on a promise he said he had made to the president: “All these guys fought for each other, fought for this country, fought for this team.”
He continued: “And one last shout to Donald Trump, President Trump… He told me I was going to bring some energy today for you guys, you guys need it, and I told him if we did this, he gets all the credit. Thank you, President Trump.”
AWESOME! Team USA Captain Brandt Snedeker says what made today's victory so special was being able to meet President Trump
And says Trump deserves a LOT of credit for the win today.
"It's really special because I got to meet President Trump today on the first tee."

Trump later shared the clip on Truth Social.
The presidential intervention came before a dominant American singles performance wiped away the International Team’s advantage.
Collin Morikawa and rookie Jackson Koivun helped turn the contest around with late surges, while Cameron Young and Justin Thomas put early American points on the board. Patrick Cantlay added to the momentum by sinking a birdie putt from just inside 60 feet against Adam Scott on the 16th.
Jacob Bridgeman ultimately notched the decisive point as a short par putt at the 18th secured a 1-up victory over Min Woo Lee.
But when the celebrations began, Snedeker made sure the president got his share of the credit.
