Vazrazhdane MP Dimo Drenchev said on Wednesday that it was “absolutely ridiculous”, that Prime Minister Rumen Radev has no information of what was transported by one of the vessels attacked by drones in Bulgaria’s exclusive economic zone in the Black Sea.
“It is possible to verify what the ship was carrying, but the very fact that it was struck and exploded suggests that it was unlikely carrying grain. Most likely, this was an illegal shipment of weapons through Bulgarian territorial waters, which makes these ships a target and, consequently, places Bulgaria on the front lines,” he argued.
On Tuesday, Radev said that according to the information available to the authorities, the first vessel was sailing north and its cargo was not known. The second ship was carrying wheat and was sailing south.
