Comedian Tim Dillon vented he doesn’t understand why female athletes are upset about Sydney Sweeney’s naked gambling ad, with the comic arguing Sweeney should be celebrated for what some have branded a “hypersexualized” commercial, not condemned for it.
“She’s taking her t*ts out and you should be happy about it!” Dillon said during the Saturday episode of his podcast.
Dillon continued his X-rated rant against those whining about Sweeney’s viral ad for Novig, a sports gambling app, where she held footballs up to her bare chest and lounged around the locker room in the buff. Soon after, CNN reported a number of female athletes hated the ad.
Australian surfer Felicity Palmateer told the outlet Sweeney’s commercial was “very damaging, especially for young females getting into sport, for females in general, [and was] just hypersexualized content.” Another Aussie athlete claimed Sweeney’s ad was a “kick in the face” to female athletes worldwide, and MS NOW’s Jen Psaki later complained the “overly sexualized ad” was “taking away” from women in sports.
Dillon said it was all a bunch of BS. He quipped many female athletes secretly lust after Sweeney, while the others who condemned the ad simply resent Sweeney for her beauty.
“Aren’t most really good female athletes imagining eating Sydney Sweeney’s box? Am I lost?” Dillon said. “That would be like me going, ‘I can’t believe the water polo team chose this guy with a huge c*ck that’s hanging out of his speedo! It’s nice to look at!”
He continued, “What are these female athletes upset about? What is Sydney Sweeney going to do? You want her to gain weight and be some fat rugby player?”

Dillon then called out Palmateer in particular, after the surfer told CNN, “We want to be valued for what we can do, not what we look like.” The comic said she was way off.
“No one is valuing female athletes for what they look like. Is that what this b*tch thinks is happening?!” Dillon yelped.
And he wasn’t the only one put off by the blowback to Sweeney’s ad this week; conservative influencer CJ Pearson went on Fox News and told viewers to not overthink it: Sweeney’s critics are liberals who hate her for being a “hot blonde woman.”
