Joe Rogan called for whoever was responsible for throwing Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on a “watchlist” should be tossed in “f*cking jail” by the current administration.
Rogan was joined this week on his Joe Rogan Experience podcast by Terminal List author and former Navy SEAL Jack Carr.
At one point during the two-hour-plus conversation, Rogan discussed Gabbard, who was previously a guest on his show, being on a “watchlist” and called for whoever was responsible to be locked up.
Rogan said about Gabbard:
She was a U.S. congresswoman for eight f*cking years. She served overseas in a medical unit, right? So, she was deployed twice in a medical unit in the middle of the f*cking war, and you’re labeling her a terrorist? Whoever did that — whoever signed off on that — should be in f*cking jail. That’s crazy. That’s such an abuse. That’s such an abuse of power. And you want to talk about going after your political enemies in a sick, third-world country way — that’s a great example of that.
Gabbard was briefly placed on a Transportation Security Administration list that would have required more security screenings in 2024 over “her overseas travel patterns and foreign connections,” triggering a “government algorithm,” CNN originally reported.
The algorithm was part of a program called Quiet Skies, a program that has since been ended by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
Gabbard has described in the past some of the extra security measures taken against her and her husband when she had been flying, calling her inclusion in the TSA watchlist “unconstitutional.”
Rogan called her addition to the list shameful and argued there are politicians who say far more obviously concerning things publicly, like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).
“You put a congresswoman for eight years on the terrorist watchlist — for what? For what reason? None? No reason?” he said. “There’s not some crazy tweets where she’s made. She’s not even like Marjorie Taylor Greene, who gets hog wild sometimes. She gets a little aggressive. She’s not like that. Tulsi’s not like that at all. And you put her on a terrorist watchlist? Shame on you. F*cking shame on you.”
