National Council for Tripartite Cooperation to Discuss Tax Changes, Minimum Wage in 2027

The National Council for Tripartite Cooperation (NCTC) will meet at 9:30 a.m. on Friday  to discuss changes to tax legislation and the proposal to set the national minimum wage effective January 1, 2027, the Government Information Service reported.
Also among the nine items on the meeting’s agenda are amendments to the Accounting Act, the Independent Financial Audit Act, and the Gambling Act.
On October 15, the Government published for public discussion a draft decree for a minimum wage of EUR 660.
The package of tax and revenue measures for 2027 was presented in late September by Deputy Minister of Finance Lyudmila Petkova. According to her, the aim of the proposals is to ensure sustainable growth in budget revenues, including a reduction in the share of the informal economy by improving revenue collection.
