Balgarianovinite.com Bulgarian stunt performer Todor Lazarov has been honoured by the Indian National Cine Academy for his work on Kantara: Chapter 1, directed by Rishab Shetty, Lazarov announced in a post on social media.
He received the award for Best Fight Choreography at a ceremony held in Mumbai on April 15. According to Lazarov, he was the only foreign recipient at the event. “What matters most is that I’ve been recognized among outstanding films and remarkable action sequences from over 1,000 productions created by this industry each year,” he wrote on Facebook.
The awards are presented by the newly established Indian National Cine Academy (INCA), backed by the Producers Guild of India. The academy was founded earlier this year with the aim of bringing together the country’s 12 film industries, regardless of language or region.
Dreams come true for those who dare to dream big and sincerely, who are ready to put in tremendous hard work, Lazarov, also known as Juji, wrote about the recognition.
Lazarov has been working in the Indian film industry since 2017 and has taken part in numerous productions. He has also worked in Hollywood, appearing in productions such as Troy, The Expendables 2, and the TV series Game of Thrones.
