The Bulgarian Aviation Industry Association (BAIA) is organizing Inter Drone Expo 2026. The exhibition will officially open at noon on Tuesday at Sofia’s Inter Expo Center. Prime Minister Rumen Radev will open the exhibition, the Council of Ministers press service said.
This year’s edition, held under the Prime Minister’s auspices, highlights the strategic importance of drone technologies and advanced air mobility for the country, the organizers said.
The exhibition will bring together manufacturers, technology companies, government institutions, research organizations and international partners from numerous countries. In parallel with the exhibition, BAIA is organizing the Sofia Sky Summit: Drones, Defense & the Future of Air Mobility on Tuesday and Wednesday. The two-day expert forum will feature thematic panels on certification, security, defence and advanced air mobility.
BAIA is the leading representative organization of Bulgaria’s aviation sector, bringing together 57 member organizations, including manufacturers, technology companies, drone developers, maintenance and engineering organizations, airports, municipalities, research institutes, universities, professional training providers and industry experts.
