Balgarianovinite.com If elections were held in mid-March, six political formations would enter Parliament, according to a survey by the Myara sociological agency released on Friday.
The survey was conducted face-to-face using tablets between March 7 and 16, 2026 among 809 adult Bulgarian citizens. The maximum standard error is ±3.5 percentage points at a 50% share. One per cent of the total sample (not just of voters) corresponds to nearly 54,000 people.
The poll shows that if elections were held in mid-March, Rumen Radev’s formation Progressive Bulgaria would receive 30.8% of the vote, GERB-UDF 19.3%, Continue the Change–Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) 12.9%, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) – New Beginning 10.6%, and Vazrazhdane 7.9%.
Around the electoral threshold would be BSP-United Left with a current result “on the edge” at 4.1%, not far from Morality, Unity, Honour (MECh) with 3.6%. Velichie would receive 2.5%, while Siyanie is also entering the contest for growth with 2.3%. There Is Such a People (TISP) would get 1.4%, and the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms (ARF) 1.3%. Other formations such as Blue Bulgaria and the Anti-Corruption Bloc are also competing around the 1% mark.
Despite the conditional nature of electoral lists and the declarative nature of respondents’ answers, potential turnout remains close to half of Bulgaria’s adult population – 49.1%, or higher than levels declared ahead of previous elections, with the potential to exceed three million voters.
The survey also shows that 1.8% of those who say they will vote intend to choose the “None of the above” option.
