More than 80 archers from 20 teams representing seven countries will compete in the European Club Archery Cup in Ruse, the organizers said on Wednesday.
The tournament will take place on October 3 and 4. Teams from France, Germany, Slovenia, Spain, Belarus, Russia and Bulgaria will compete in recurve archery. Official practice and a team managers’ meeting are scheduled for October 2. The competition includes men’s and women’s team events, with the medal matches set for October 4.
Ruse will host the European Club Cup for the third time. The organizers said this reflects the local club’s growing experience in staging events and its cooperation with the federation and municipality.
The event is organized by Ruse Municipality, the Bulgarian Archery Federation and the Jambo-2006 Archery Club in Ruse.a
