Marsha Blackburn Hit with Avalanche of Mockery Over Bizarre Kendrick Lamar Video: ‘We Need an Age Limit for AI’ 2026

Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) left people on the left and right scratching their heads in confusion after an AI-generated video she posted of her and her Republican allies performing and dancing to a Kendrick Lamar diss track.

“Tomorrow. Ready to roll,” Blackburn, who is running for governor of Tennessee, wrote on X.

The video shows her singing to Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” a 2024 diss track aimed at rapper Drake. The Blackburn video was a play on Lamar’s own performance of the song at the Super Bowl in 2025, a performance which ironically earned backlash from many MAGA influencers and right-wing pundits.

Also included in the AI video are Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.), Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-Tenn.), state Sen. Brent Taylor and Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs. All of the men are turned into energetic backup dancers, and Jacobs is thrown back into his WWE wrestling outfit when he performed as the masked Kane in the ring.

Blackburn’s video, which was promoting the start of early voting, has faced an avalanche of mockery, with people calling for age limits for AI and predicting retaliatory action from Lamar.

Blackburn’s gubernatorial opponent, Jerri Green, responded to the video by declaring it’s exactly what she was referring to when she recently asked supporters to stop using AI to support her run.

Other critics noted the initial MAGA backlash to Lamar’s performance and dug up old comments from Blackburn critical of the hip hop industry.

“How and when did society fail you that you would choose to write such filth?” Blackburn asked Percy Miller, aka rapper Master P, in a 2007 congressional hearing.

The staffer who came up with this Kendrick Lamar inspired AI video probably doesn’t remember that in 2007, Marsha Blackburn sat on a congressional committee that held hearings criticizing rap music.
