Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) let it be known on Monday that she’s not a fan of Latino artist Bad Bunny’s selection to perform as the Super Bowl’s halftime headliner.
Greene posted to X, “Bad Bunny says America has 4 months to learn Spanish before his perverse unwanted performance at the Super Bowl halftime. It would be a good time to pass my bill to make English the official language of America. And the NFL needs to stop having demonic sexual performances during its halftime shows.”
The Puerto Rican-born performer, birth name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, appeared on the season opener of Saturday Night Live over the weekend to mock MAGA’s horror after he was announced as the Super Bowl LX performer.
BAD BUNNY: You might not know this, but I’m doing the Super Bowl halftime show. And I’m very happy. I’m happy, and I think everyone is happy about it. Even, even Fox News.

BAD BUNNY: Wow, thank you. No, no, but really, I’m very excited to be doing the Super Bowl. And I know that people all around the world who love my music are also happy, especially todo Latinos.

More than an achievement of mine, it’s an achievement for everyone, showing that our footprint and our contribution in this country, no one will ever be able to take it out or erase it.
And if you didn’t understand what I just said… You have four months to learn.
Bad Bunny has been a vocal opponent of President Donald Trump, and has refused to tour within the United States for fear ICE might harass his fans. Department of Homeland Security chief Kristi Noem has vowed to surround the Super Bowl venue with ICE agents to arrest anyone who is undocumented.
