The third edition of Sofia Art Fair opened at Sofia Tech Park on Thursday, with Sofia Mayor Vassil Terziev describing it as a strategic event.
He said the international contemporary art fair was now a priority for Sofia City Council and the State.
Terziev thanked the fair’s founder Suni Danadzha for her perseverance and also thanked the Sofia Breathes Foundation.
Minister of Culture Evtim Miloshev said he was most impressed that the fair featured 88 artists from five continents.
Danadzha thanked the fair’s partners for their support and said the event was now part of the Ministry of Culture’s National Cultural Calendar.
The fair runs until October 11, 2026. It opens to the public on October 9, 2026, when the SAF Talks lecture programme also begins, the organizers said.
