The Bulgarian Embassy in Washington, D.C., and the Bulgarian Consulate General in New York are organizing a festive reception to mark Bulgaria’s Independence Day, the diplomatic mission said on its Facebook page on Monday.
The event will take place on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Bulgarian Consulate General in New York, located at 121 East 62nd Street.
Guests of honour at the event will be Bulgarian President Iliana Iotova, Foreign Minister Velislava Petrova and Labour and Social Policy Minister Natalia Efremova.
The reception will be hosted by Stefka Yovcheva, Charge d’Affaires ad interim at the Bulgarian Embassy in the United States, and the Consul General in New York, Angel Angelov.
