Four people were injured, while an energy facility and civilian sites were damaged in overnight attacks in Odesa Region, Odesa Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Kiper said on Telegram on Friday.
Russian forces struck civilian infrastructure in Odesa Region, damaging an energy facility, a household goods manufacturing plant and seven houses, Kiper said in his statement.
“The attacks caused large fires, which have now been extinguished. The relevant services are working to deal with the aftermath of the strikes,” the Regional Governor noted.
More than 150,000 Bulgarians live in the Odesa region, making them the third-largest ethnic group according to Ukraine’s latest official census. Some 50,000–60,000 Bulgarians live in the city of Odesa itself. The largest compact Bulgarian communities are concentrated in the Bolhrad, Izmail and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi districts.
